Just passing by

Post by Lil Stealth »

Heya guys :)
Just stopped by to see how everyone's doing.
Again, I've been in school, and it's really been stressful.
I thought Senior year was supposed to be easy?
Nah. Not at my tiny private school. Eh.

It's been rough couple of months.
December 28, 2009, my ex girlfriend passed away in a tragic car accident
in Louisiana. The idiot didn't stop at the stop sign and hit her.
It was his fault completely, and her parents are suing.
Her best friend was critically injured in the car accident,
but she's home now, though she'll have to go through
6 months of therapy and rehab.
But I thank Jesus so much that she's alive,
she and I have gotten a lot closer.
Though a lot of good has come out of her death,
I would trade it all in if she could still be alive.
Alas, life continues.

I won't be able to play BZE for a while, at least till I get a new
computer.
I need to reserve this computer for photography purposes.

How's the player count coming along?
Have we gotten any new players? an increase in population?

miss you guys a ton.

Hi lil stealth, I am so sorry to hear that about your ex-girlfriend. I hope you are doing well. There are some new interested players kinda waiting in the wings so to speak and also a few new ones and old ones in bze. Your demo was very instrumental for some and I still enjoy it as well. I wish there was an updated one for the new players to practice on. I understand the wizards have been hard at work fixing things. Glad to see you in here.

Hi Lil,

I too am sorry to hear of your loss, its terrible to lose someone so young.

BZE is doing fine, we're also spending a lot of time on BZ 1.5, working with Ken, Tug and DX. The DX9 engine is coming along nicely but still have a ways to go.

You should stop by the lobby just to chat every once in a while.

See ya,

My condolences Lil'.

I lost a girlfriend years ago to complications from an auto accident and it IS tough for a good while.

The community is, more or less, the same. . .i.e, maybe 18 total at BZ and 12 total at BZE, and maybe 6-10 playing either game on a very good night.

I'm still hanging around too.

Sorry to hear about your loss, that's horrible for someone so young to die because of someone's carelessness, very tragic. God bless.

I'm still in touch with Bort (frequently) and TechX (less frequently), and we're still around, just not on BZ. There's a 95% chance I'll be coming back to play BZE in April/May, when I have much more free time.

We've got probably over 2 feet of snow on the ground right now. :)

I've found that I'm somewhat of a natural in poker, I've been playing that a lot in my free time, and it's been exponentially more profitable than playing BZ, and there are just a few more players, so I've been playing that since. I may try to go to Atlantic City/Vegas this summer to place in a tournament and see if fate follows me there. We'll see.

Again, so sorry to hear about your loss. Would be cool if we could all get back together again this summer.

God bless!

Terribly sorry about the accident. My condolences.

As you can see, I'm a new face, and one of the few new guys playing BZ now. I've played it for a while but I've only gotten online for the first time these past few weeks.

Indeed there is.

Usually during the day there's maybe 2-4.

At night there's usually 4-7.

On a great evening or weekend afternoon or evening, it's been known to spike up to around 10.
