I am Snowcone at BZ1 forums.

I'd like to offer a truce between myself and BZ Club.

Though, I personally think 2/3 of you aren't even allowed to buy alcohol and might dwell in your parent's basement- we do have one thing in common: We don't like Spock too much He banned me from the board, this angers me because I use that laptop to watch most of my movies and browse the forums

Please accept my truce on the grounds that we don't agree with Spock, and nothing else. Though I appreciate some of the members on the boards, Spock is the only one who doesn't care what you or Jesus thinks. I don't go as far to diss him as much as you guys do because quite frankly--internet fighting gets nowhere, but he is one hell of an incoherent a******

Edit- Spock...banning me from the Forums, TS3 and server won't do anything...like I said, IP numbers mean nothing if you know how to use them

LOL, you're funny snowcone. 2/3 live in mommy's basement and can't buy alcohol. Clearly demonstrates that you don't reallyl know much about the demographic associated with BZ from long ago. the Strat players at the time were all well above 25 years old. I am quite certain I've been able to buy alcohol longer than you've been alive. So insulting people you're trying to have a truce with well.... kind of stupid technically.

Of course speckle cares what we think. That's why he bans people and acts like a tormented little girl, having hissy fits. It is simple really, he's got zero control in his RL world, so he comes to BZ and figures out he can actually have some control, and he gets all giddy with his perceived power. I mean really, creating fake instances of players, KNOWN to be NOT on his server?

I've seen this many times over the years in many different venues, you don't even have to be in gaming to see this behavior manifest itself.

Load up BZE, and play some. I recommend though if you play the BZE maps use the BZ2 units. otherwise you'll get smoked, unless everybody does the same units, that is. I've read the retarded gripefest that whathisface wrote about BZE, clearly gurenx <?> wasn't up to the task to grasp what was going on.

but hackfree bz is a wonderful thing.

I didn't like BZE, I prefer original BZ because I started playing it in '98 and have grown a preference towards it.


I took a lot of action shots for a BZ recruitment video I've been creating with a fellow named Lone Fox, but if Spock keeps it up he'll never see it uploaded for his forum ...perhaps BZU will get it if they accept my truce since they play BZ1? It's just funny Spock always preached about not banning people on the server unless they were caught cheating and it was never in lieu of the forum bans ... perhaps he couldn't take me not giving in to his "superiority?"

Yes. That's a rough sketch of my ACTIVE time, not how long I've had it installed

1998-2000- Actively played BZ but quit after Activision shut down the server
2000-2006- Got caught up with Half-Life/Counter Strike/XBOX
2006-2007- Played with buddies on deployments; not really considered play time because they all sucked at BZ
2009-2010- Now

LOL, not really. it was a 2 life game. and you sniped my last life. I knew I was taking a risk with you so close to a supply. Fortunately at the time she KNEW i was playing, while I was waiting for her to do some email replies. Before we watched some TV. I had transferred a show UP from the basement, as I don't live down there.

Agree with Scrappy against this point. We here are all vets of the game, and yeah, the majority were well into the legal age of alcohol consumption when we started playing. Prepubescents are more spock's style.

We all remember the heat.net days, and when activision shut down their anet servers. But we had 911 to play on before that happened.

But what are the chances that you are actually Snocone, and not just Xtreme putting off homework?
I did notice spock "recycling" a snocone post... you know, he claims he doesn't delete posts ever, but he may prune them to the recycle bin, where the forum script automatically deletes. So I guess that's his loophole. He doesn't do it, himself, technically.

But if i leave a loaded gun on a table and tell someone who hates me not to use it to shoot me, am I not the one still responsible?

yes rattlers are a lot more formidable than the badgers.

I had gotten blown out of my tank. and I Baron was firing those rockets from his grendel and I got hit somehow. for the first life lost.

I had rattlers on that plateau by where I popped you with the mines. he spawned in there a couple of times. the rattlers just chewed him up. I didn't realize that was his spawn until you mentioned it, so I moved the rattlers. Because I hadn't given any though to where JOD <?> had spawned.

Watch the forums closely, you'll see missing replies from me and the absence of replies from Spock's normal superiority-complex. Hey, he might even make a topic just for my ban He does in fact censor my posts when they go against what he says, if he thinks my tech support comes from his little guides; there is even a post about him censoring me (it's under "Has anyone seen Snowcone playing" I think or one of the tech support ones). Some people have been rising up against him, but that's their own accord. Other's let themselves get walked all over by him-- that's what separates me from the others.

Spock rules the forums as a dictator and says it's so sustain the integrity of the game.

BZC is more than just people who all agree Spock is pretty much a tard. I've been online buddies with a few of these guys for years, and I have a history with reaper and the YG clan. I stick around here because of that and that alone. We all just happen to agree that Spock's an idiot, and he thinks he's way more of a factor in Battlezone than he actually is.

I hope you didn't take too much offense to anything I wrote about you (you sound like the kind of person who wouldn't), and if I did miff you off a little, I'm sorry. But, it's of course not personal.

As I've said before, any Spock-related posts I make are usually when I'm bored as hell or have a few minutes to have some fun. Any collateral damage (you, in this instance) is just part of the schenanigans. Many people have found that Spock is so ridiculous he's not even worth a post that requires any thought whatsoever anymore.

Plus, my life is pretty busy now, and a topic like Spock is completely ridiculous to even populate my mind with.

I know it sounds like BS but I don't ACTUALLY have any problem with you or any of those other people on his forums--I couldn't care less in fact. But, for the sake of formality, sure I agree to a truce, lol.

Just don't get too bogged down with BZ if you are--if you're really majoring in that field you mentioned, you should be focusing on that because that's a huge industry (you already know this)... Just remember BZ drama is just static.

If you can find a game, play it and enjoy it, be done with it, and go out and have a life. If you do that, Spock very quickly becomes a complete nobody.

EDIT: Sorry hitch, I'm not posing snowcone to entertain you and put off my homework lol. And yeah, I'm decently over the drinking age, and I'm one of the younger ones. We're all pretty old over here.

Yeah we like to poke fun at spock a lot and bitch about him when we're bored. But agreed, the majority of us don't really give a s**t about him.

Spock has created a bit of an online vacuum. You can hold out for 1.5 and hope things improve, or, in the meantime, give BzE another shot.
