I was wondering. . . if you could put in a few words for me to the management.

I could use a decent new place to hang my locator collar.

I could provide a recent picture. . .

And, if necessary and/or needed, I can provide a cross-species stud service.

Anything you could do would be much appreciated.

I can only assume that BFT has either hired a programmer (or maybe done the work himself) to create a bot program that trawls the internet for pictures of raccoons.

If only we'd have known that a thread entitled, "Truce" would lead to a picture of a raccoon humping a dog.

I'm aware of all current Snowcone's IP ranges (he has around 10) and I'll know as soon as he gets a new one.

What happened to him? He decided to turn back to BZ and join Team Dummy. He wasn't a real player anyway, so no one will miss him.
I'm still churning waves at BZ1.net 8)

I was on the BZ1 server last night using a proxy, looks like Spock is a bit behind the technology as well as thinking he knows all my IP ranges

Who's "no one" ?

Him, Spork, and their multiple accounts?

And what's his major malfunction with proxies?

People are allowed to use proxies if they want. If you wanna play the game in peace and secrecy without them teaming up on you and harassing you because of your IP address, it shouldn't be a problem. That's what they're made for.

No one's allowed to keep anything private. Except for him.

I don't know, but after all he is the god of everything in Battlezone

Spock won't miss me...no regrets there. I was usually on Teamspeak with Battledroid, Guren, Spork and whoevertheotherguywas and had begun to work with LoneFox with video's (which Spock will more than likely dismiss).

Spock wasn't much of a social man, so he cannot really comment on anyone "missing" me.

Spock knows some proxies..."finally"? I guess? He won't let anyone sign up on his forum using one...or at least ones that he knows, I guess.
New policy now that he has people "defecting."
He claimed it was to keep trouble makers out, but maybe he should start with culling his own herd...oh wait...he does that.

Yeah people are "allowed" to use proxies, but not in Spockistan (©2010 HitchcockGreen). There it's all about freedom of Spock's twisted vision of Battlezone, and nothing else. Certainly not free speech nor expression as everyone here is well aware.

Glad you like it here, Sno. As you can see, we aren't as bad as Spock paints us, are we?

We used to do teamspeak...do we still have a teamspeak server set up? The last time I remember anyone using it was last year. :)

What's used now, Ventrilo?

No, it's not bad at all...not like the prison that BZ1.org is.

At the moment I dunno if anyone is using anything to actually talk. We'll have to ask Eddy.... Eddy?

I use Team Speak 2 when testing stuff, that's about it.

We have a Teamspeak 3 server running on the .com server.

Snowcone, do you have Fraps or another way to record video? I've done a ton of BZE videos using Fraps and always thought it would be awesome to have multiple points of view recording the same scene so we could do some real editing. So far, we've not been able to coordinate multiple people with Fraps at the same.

I do, but I'm not sure how much longer this laptop is going to last- it's on its last leg. If you're wanting to do some shots, I should have my desktop rig and a new laptop up and running next week and this one will be...a paperweight that shows endless slideshows of hot women

Do we have the Teamspeak info on here somewhere? Should be stickied. :)

Then I've got to book some vacation time and bring my work desktop home with me. FRAPS on my laptop makes for a chuggy game. Although rumour has it, my team is supposed to be getting all new higher-end laptops....
We have some great DM videos (watch once the host is back up - you can see my a** getting kicked a few times)...we should get some strat videos made, too.

I think I played BzE for about 5 mins before getting rid of it last year...so I'm not familiar how FRAPS runs with it, but with 1.4 it runs smooth as hell (unlike CamStudio and Taksi). Microsoft has their "Expressions" encoder out that supposedly works well but I haven't tried it in games.
