Hi guys! How's life? I have been collecting Battlezone 1/2 maps/mods and utils for years. This one of the best collections of BZ1/2 stuff in the community.
You don't have to register at the forum to use the download links just stop by and have a look.
My brother and I set up our own server and had over 1000 people visit it in 2 weeks, and we got about 12 - 16 dailys (yes, that's more than all of BZ combined. )
I just double checked my BZ1 maps and Mods folder. There is a total of 415 zipped maps in there. Not that much? ok if you say so, but enough to make it worth a look.
Uh oh! Your BZ archives links to the wrong Battlezone forum!
We ran Mincraft with fCraft, it was loads of fun. Totally protected our work from griefers and stuff and we didn't have to make a jail. We were going to buy a dedicated server but we lost interest cause we don't see why we have to pay $40 a month for a dedicated server for 16 other people to have fun.
Plus, work is picking back up again and that stuff's a total timewaster.
Yeah I drew the same conclusions about a dedicated server. I just like to go exploring on occasion overland and caves. My boys and I have 3 computers networked and we share a private server having loads of fun.
So far I've found a handful of maps that I didn't already have.
I'm adding them to my collection and then one day...one day... I'll sort out, properly name and maybe even throw them into an HTML page with, YES, pictures.
Maybe.
