We've been waiting a long time already.
And as long as you don't want a theory that's practically testable...
String Theory and M-Theory resolve all four forces nicely....

As I mentioned several posts back, a star like Canis Majoris, even if it is only 1/4 as big (as some astronomers speculate), and it was in our system and we were the same distance as we are from our sun, and we could tolerate the proximity, it would fill our sky completely during the day.
