So it finally got hot out. About time.

Now that it's hot out, I'm booking vacation time and heading out here.

Google Maps initially showed some random island when I clicked the link, I was like "geez this guy is a real lumberjack."

Looks grand. I'm trying to get a group of friends to "venture outside the USA" next year to Germany/Ireland/Curacao after I graduate. Of course, the majority of people around here are pretty much bent towards going to some local island or an over-bearing tourist attraction where everyone wears Hawaiian shirts

It is some random island. And no, you don't have to be a lumberjack. Actually that picture is from the eastern island, not the one my family has land on.

14 acres of undeveloped land. Waterfront property on most of it.
If I want to go to the cabin, that's about a three hour drive, then a 45 minute boat ride.

Hah. A resort of tourists. Lame. Overseas would be an adventure.

How much longer before you graduate, by the way?

If I can pull it off, summer 2012...Fall 2012 at the latest. It all depends on if my adviser actually attempts to get off her a** and does my upper-course credit evaluation from my other college
