I know. Although I keep it installed for when I want to buy music from the iTunes store. Otherwise it's a bloated mess I steer clear of.

I found out that this is a problem that goes well beyond BattleZone 1.5, as I cannot hear CD audio in any games whatsoever, just foobar. (WMP no longer counts because it now refuses to read anything from my virtual drive for some reason)

It might have to do with most older games relying on analog CD audio, but Windows 7 won't allow me to enable it at all for whatever reason.

Oh, there's likely a way, but you'd be committing Ken to another 2 years of work.

it's bcuz i own the BR version of BZ(in fact the BR dub version of this game sucks)

now its working fine here

I'm looking for the Japanese version but they are so into anime that they probably toss out pc games, i'm sure i'll never find it. I should try and contact a Japanese programmer girl i meet while looking into modding Far Cry. (if i can find her email addy)

Was this Brazillian Version made by Activison?

is made by activision, BUT! they did the same thing that blizzard did with the BR versions of starcraft and warcraft II

they asked for TecToy to do this for them, and the result is that the dub and the translation sucks
