I was trying to find some information about this site.
I gather this is primarily for the support of the Original BattleZone game, but I didn't really find any kind of "About Us" type of information in the short time I've been poking around here.
I intend to add this site to my listing of BattleZone related websites and just wanted to get some definitive description of what a visitor can expect when he comes here.
It's a really great looking site. I really like the color choices and the images. Makes it very easy to read for my old tired eyes.
There used to be more of a front page and other links on this site, but when most BZ sites fell to the wayside all that was stripped away and the forum takes up the whole of the domain now.
As for the About Us part, well back then it would have been quite different from what it is now. But primarly, the About Us would be something like "community of BZ enthusiasts."
We have our own distinct style of doing things here, which is somewhat chaotic and all over the place. But generally everyone is welcome and everything is more or less fair game.

No need to fuss and clean up or redecorate for me... I just wasn't sure what this place was all about. I got the BZ part, duh... Was just curious about the back story.. Who's the shop owner and what's he up to round these parts.. You see I'm writing this book.. no, I'm not
As you mention though, BZ related sites tend to come and go with much regularity over the years. Some you can tell right off that they are destine to disappear in the near future. Your site here looked to be much more promising, except that it's just all about the forum and not really anything else. So I was curious.
The only corruption was Nav beacon's forum conversion, i fixed the problems he caused and the forum had all the old posts pruned from 2 years old an older.
All truth goes through three stages:
•First it is ridiculed
•Then it is violently opposed
•Finally it is widely accepted as self evident

you know that old bz forum you had stored on your hdd, do you think you can upload it so ppl can read it locally on their own computers?
Yeah, unless you know what you're doing, and besides that there would be confidential info in it that it would be irresponsible to openly share that database.
