Weird. I get a bad gateway message for that site. I'll try again later.
As for my next smartphone.... well I may get a Galaxy Nexus or hold off til February and see what comes out with Tegra 3 chips.

I'm loving the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. It's the first phone I actually use in earnest for the net and movie viewing. It appears the Nexus Prime is going to be another notch above, so it should be very nice. I would have waited for Sprint to get it, my carrier, but my Palm Pre' was on its last lags, and I really had to make the move to something else or replace the Pre.
One unique thing I've noticed about the AMOLED screen is red and blue colored text, especially when small, appear almost 3D. Like reds and blues are on another layer, offset and deeper inside the display than whites, greens and yellows. Not by much, maybe a third of a mm, but noticeable.

I just got my wife the Samsung Infuse 4G. It seems to have similar features of phone, BFT. The screen is gorgeous and it's frickin' fast.

Yes, with the exception of a slightly faster processor and more onboard memory, I think it is basically the same phone.
What blew me completely away was the 8MP still camera and the 1080P video recording. Yes, they need more light than a single purpose camera since the aperture is smaller than a BB, but I no longer carry my old Olympus around to jobs to take pictures, the phone takes pictures easily as good.

I never thought it would happen, but even the newest iPhone looks thick and blocky compared to the Samsung.
It appears the next 'jump' in cell phone technology is the flexible phone which may also transmute the mechanical movement into energy.

The Samsung Skin may use that tech. I'd love to see that thing when it comes out, but not sure I'd want to use it (at least not the first generation version).
It's also bigger than most phones (ok, all phones)... well, longer.
The Prime has only a 5 MP camera but there are still huge improvements: mostly in the software, I think. Zero-delay shutter is going to be nice to play with. That's one of my gripes with my current SGS1.

I picked up the Samsung Galaxy s II Skyrocket today at Fry's for $139. It looks identical to my wife's Infuse (which you can get for free now) but has the dual core processor instead of the single core, 1.5ghz instead of 1ghz, 1GB ram instead of 512MB and 16GB internal flash instead of 8GB. The other specs are very similar.
It's a beautiful and fast phone. I'll let you know how the battery life is...

Yes, a side by side comparison with the Infuse would be cool.
