The Walking Dead
So... I guess they are going with the barn angle in the show, following the 'books after all. Just REALLY dragging it out.
One reveal after 40 minutes of a dude climbing and falling down a hill.

Re: The Walking Dead
Yes, I see if they use most or all of the elements of the graphic novel they have at least ten seasons of material.
Unless I have yet to get to it, they added the snake and horse and falling into the ravine segment, that adds a lot of material.
I must say, my whole perspective of Hershel would be different if I had not been reading the novel. I'm wondering how the TV audience is going to handle the big revelation next week.
Shane is totally the wild card now since he is outside the novel. I think they will use Shane in replace of the black father character that Rick fights in prison.
Also, I'm wondering if Andrea and Dale will become bed buddies. In the novel it's odd enough, but in the series, it would be too weird.

Re: The Walking Dead
I doubt we'll see Dale and Andrea hook up. As for Shane, he may still meet the same fate. They'll just drag it out.
I'm just wondering if Lori will still meet the fate laid out for her in the 'books....that's a character I can really do without. Not much likable about her. And christ sakes, somebody feed her!
Yes the snake/horse bit was added.. as was Darryl's character who didn't exist the the 'books at all (nor did his brother).

They storyline is basically suggesting the baby is Shane's, that's a massive canker sore waiting to pop.

Have you read to the end of the prison arc yet? I'm not going to post spoilers here....

Re: The Walking Dead
lol i know, but the two machines i take with me everywhere are my work machines and i need them to stay clean.
i have a crappy dell at home i can use but i havent been in richmond in ages, let alone on the ground.
i could install a virtual machine but it's kind of a pain in the a** and i don't really have the time to install it, learn how to use it, and then learn how to use a torrent
plus isn't the quality from torrents total crap anyways? lol
there, i've eliminated all possibilities of you helping me. if you can still help me i'd be impressed.
ive been watching breaking bad too

No. I always end up getting 720p copies of TV/movies (when available).Xtreme wrote:plus isn't the quality from torrents total crap anyways? lol
This season kind of sucks anyway. Just wait and then download them all in one shot or wait for netflix.

There are quite a few of streaming sites that will have it. There was one really good one that was referred to me, but since I never checked it out I've forgotten the link.
This one http://series-cravings.info/the-walking-dead seems to work.

Re: The Walking Dead
But of course the caveat . . .
Here’s a girl talking about getting indicted by the fed for pirating and the strong possibility of her upcoming time in the slammer.
She rambles a lot and breaks down several times.
But. . . also consider she’s not the “average torrent pirate”. She was running a decent size torrent server.
The feds are looking to burn her because not only was she pirating, she was also running an optional ‘premium membership - pay to download’ option at the site…meaning it offers faster downloads and other stuff not available for free.
Supposedly she made a LOT of money in the last 3 years. . .splitting around $500,000 amongst four people.

I am deep into the novel now, around issue 54. I can't imagine the TV show getting anywhere near as crazy.

Re: The Walking Dead
No it likely won't. It will continue to be watered down. So far they've only signed for a third season. Can you image what they could drag out in that length of time?
Season three will end up being the two issues they find the prison and discuss it.
