Going well.
BZE has 2 - 4 games in the evening.
Usually the same 7 or so playing, so we now know every nuance of every player.

On a side note that I found hilarious. . .

I was searching for "Battlezoneclub" with my phone and spotted one of spock's links as maybe the third reference when putting it in Google;

As most of you know, there's this group of hackers presenting themselves as BZ Club. They have fake BZ1.4 installer and a silly mod which they falsely call A New BZ. They've been able to trick few unaware oldtimers and new players that they represent the real BZ. Anyone who installs BZ from the original CD and applies the needed patches (or downloads pre-patched BZ98 and 1.5b installers), can see with their own eyes that BZ Club is lying. With their fake 1.4 installer (not leading to original BZ server session) they are trying to present that BZ is dead, so everybody would move to their vision of new BZ called BZE. Like that, they are hurting the original (1.4) and its probable replacement (1.5).

Main BZ community at Battlezone1.net offers real BZ1.4 and BZ1.5 installers.

If you are one of those unaware people who got tricked, I hope you will read this and come back to original BZ (whether that'll be 1.4 or not yet finished 1.5). But if you are one of those who joined those hackers on purpose, you should be aware that you can't be "friends" with both parties, so by joining them you are guilty by association and you are not welcome in BZ anymore. You may not be sorry now, but you will be when 1.5 gets released and when we get hundreds of new players."

I had almost forgotten about the childishness of years past. . .and I see, still lives. The thing that struck home the immaturity the most was the mention of not being able to be "friends" with anyone who would indulge in BZE or any installer that was "fake" and not his, and the promise of "hundreds of new players".

He just primarily played strat, so i didn't play him much.

Ah the funny guys are all still on deck

the Scrapmkr household is amping up for my 50th Bday party, in Feb.

Much to do. Dad and I built a murphy bed last week for our guest bedroom. wonderful space saving device to be sure.

I promise that next week I'll get installed.

the new computer is working great. 8GB ram now, and nice and speedy.

I just wish i had more time to sit at it.

we finally got all of the lightening strike related repairs, etc. completed!!!!!! and the fireplace works again
