Hey BTF. The trouble with adding as much sky as needed. it is still wider than it is tall, instead of the other way around. The aspect ration needs to be 3 wide to 4 tall, I added a JPG file with about all the sky I can use, with the proper aspect ratio of 3 to 4. From my study of the truecolor of a Martian sky, it is a reddish color, We see a lot of blue pictures released because of lens filtering. I think that the only place that a blue haze appears is above Valles Marineris - forget why.

I am sending a background that is the right aspect ratio. It may be a bit tight but as long as I have a place on top and bottom and a little room to write a little something on the left side, should work.

Thank you. I found myself doing a hard rewrite of a specific chapter to crank up the tension and conflict, so I have been busy with a very complex thing of my own. I should be done in 1-2 weeks on that and ready to upload the book.

Hey bud almost done with the book?

Hey Grinder. In preparation for uploading the book to Kindle/Amazon, I had to format the book for Kindle. The easy method is to take Word and do a converter program that converts WORD to Kindle format. Unfortunately, WORD has so much excessive programming and Kindle is so particular, that it is hard to get the look you like that way. So, the way I decided to do it was format my whole book in HTML with CSS styles. HTML is basically how Kindle views a book anyhow. The CSS gives me the control I need to get around some of Kindle's formatting issues. Basically I work on the book in notepad, save as HTML, run through MOBIpocket creator to convert to Kindle format, then load it on my Kindle for viewing. The formatting thing is all done, and I have the Table of Contents finished.

I was going through the book and rewrote my last chapter, then found that I didn't like my Moon piece. So I am working on rewriting that chapter, which is over half done. Should be done in about 2 weeks. The Moon piece and the cover art which BTF is doing is all that is left.

I think we are just not communicating. I really don't want to add so much sky that it brings it into the correct ratio. This will make too much sky and shrink the size of the tank on the front to make it too small. If you are too busy to complete the cover, I will take what I have and get another artist to finish it. I will be through with the present chapter in probably a week and ready to upload this. <sigh>
