I heard BZ got hacked?????????? GOOD FOR SPOCK THAT f**g**!!

Sounds like the weapons odf was hacked, Ken knows when you leave the assets open someone with enough skills will always find a way to hack it. We had that discussion years ago. But i saw the Hornet hacked over there when i played some games... it wasn't the first hack in 1.5.1.

He been hacking 1.4 for years, even crashing players out of games, he must have left some loopholes in 1.5. I was told Spock has a hidden forum where they talk about how 1.5 can be hacked/cheated in, Spock wanted to keep things private, seems the crap floated to the surface now.

The more things change the more they stay the same huh.

Not sure what you mean, as long as assets remain open and known, you'll have hacking. Also the speed app. cheat.

A team can slow progress as everyones ideas come into conflict, it only takes one person to get the job done, you just have to wear many hats.

Sillly question but is there a way to allow modding for BZ1 without all this hacking issues?

I still have the file Spork gave me in early 2009. The file is named sspilo.vdf. I had other files that he gave me from back then, but I never kept a hard copy after I uninstalled the game/deleted the directory. No wonder Spork was always a CCA pilot LOL

None of this should surprise anyone. Ken didn't make it hack-proof and certain people working closely with him would be well aware of the security holes.

sspilo.vdf is not the snipe hack, it's the link file.

Nothing is hack-proof, it's always a matter of raising the bar to make it soo hard people will give up on it before they get a hack to work.
