That is a funny result, Jesse Ventura lives in Mexico and gave up his US citizenship. I suppose if i voted for the opposite selections it would still say liberal.
According to this result, i should be best friends with paco. hehe
You would feel most at home in the Northwest region. You advocate a large degree of economic and personal freedom. Your neighbors include folks like Ayn Rand, Jesse Ventura, Milton Friedman, and Peter Thiel, and may refer to themselves as "classical liberals," "libertarians," "market liberals," "old whigs," "objectivists," "propertarians," "agorists," or "anarcho-capitalist."
All truth goes through three stages:
•First it is ridiculed
•Then it is violently opposed
•Finally it is widely accepted as self evident
My result was a little surprising but you know...multiple choice. Nothing defined or fleshed out so you interpret with your own biases etc etc.
" West
You are a Westerner-a civil libertarian-which means that you advocate a diminished role for the government in the personal realm. You are more or less pleased the government's role in the economic realm."
I'm actually not at all pleased with the governments role in the economic realm so wtf?

The word liberal is overused and has lost its meaning I think (same goes for conservative - I mean in the US where politics are highly polarized).
Neither liberal nor conservative are bad words and each have many contexts.
Both have a tendency to be represented as extremes in the US media.
