He he unfortunately, Sno the current gov has made that very difficult.
Besides Ir's more expensive here and we have higher taxes.
But overall we're in the top happiest countries.

You only say that because you don't know Canadian politics. Trust me. I don't even want to live here now. I'm looking at atheistic, socialist, Nordic countries as an alternative.

Ah, I see. Looks like you and I are in the same boat then. I am also looking for an alternative and hope to be fully trained up and moved out by 2014. I have no issues renouncing my citizenship, I'd rather not be associated with a hypocritical government starting wars with countries that they can't even point to on a map and giving NASCAR, a RUM company, and Hollywood money as part of the fiscal cliff "deal."

I don't think I'd ever renounce my citizenship...too many benefits to keeping it, I think.
Besides, you'd better have permanent residence elsewhere before you do that or you're gonna live in airports.

Nah, seriously though, I do love this piece of geography I occupy for whatever reason but too many people don't seem to give a crap or just don't want to recognize what's going on.

I'm serious about Nordic countries though.
Norway is looking pretty good.

Or maybe the Turks Caicos...but you know...they don't get cold weather, and I kind of need that.

I'm used to 35C weather, as long as a breeze is going and moisture is in the air I'm all good. Below 20C is too damn cold and I flip on the heater enough to a point where Eczema has a disco.

We had 35C weather in the end of April/early may last year. Unusual. That didn't last.
