No, these are two seperate version that goto different sessions.
Noone plays this on the 911 servers, we are in BzE. No wonder i haven't saw you, you're in the wrong session.

Don't bother trying to download these files and playing on Spock's server anymore. These files install with a different CRC than what is displayed on Spock's site. Spock/Spork has the modified update files under password somewhere on his forum, so if you can't get the CRC modified files, you don't play anymore.

I'm not sure anyone from here plays 1.5 mod online and from what ZOD said you'll have to get Spocks full installer and their passworded assets to play with them.

Ken hasn't said anything about how he's handling the split Spock is doing to 1.5.

Install this first then any addon or map pack from the Downloads board.

This version was made to be compatable with the older addons/mappacks.
The dll's have been recompiled with the latest active net from C2P2 open source and is backwards compatable with BattleZone 1.4 patch.

Let me know if there are any problems with the installer, dlls or addons/mappacks installations.

Can you make this into a installer. IM having trouble dealing with this .

You're always confused, that is why Spock made a FULL installer, for people LIKE you.

I have a complete patch installer made but it won't be uploaded till next month sometime.... with all other updates.

It's not really that confusing.

1) install bz 1.4 (stock or the installer on this board)
2) Install the C++ re-distributable package
3) Install the 1.5.1 installer
4) replace the bzint.exe with the http://battlezone.videoventure.org/bzint_2012-08-29.7z version
5) apply the updated assets.

That's it.

I was planning on updated all the installers on the site, some in a week and BzE in March.

I got streams to work on Twitch (well, mostly), so making the installation process painless is recommended before I started slapping on BZC stuff as an overlay.

Done, i've only tested it last month so you may want to check it and make sure the crc matches, it should.

I'll have to update the 1.4 installer now too.

I can't seem to download the installer. Around 300k of the download gets completed instead of 39mb. Is it just me?

Oops, that was the upload i canceled because it was going to take me 5hrs on a 56k to do it.
I'll go delete that now.
