BB, you're just rambling now and not making any sense. I think it's time to lock this thread and alert readers that Spork, Black Dog Grizzly and Blue Banana are simply trolls that like to grief players who frequent here.
Anyone interested in playing BZ 1.5 or BZE will find the relevent information here to download, install and play the games.

BB,
Actually you are making allot more nonsense posts now then before and I asked for you to prove what you say. Apparently you can't so you ramble on about things you clearly don't know anything about, no points for talking horse $hit here.
I didn't bring up what version is "obsolete" I'm stating all versions clearly are to show that the point is invalid and it was stupid to bring it up in the first place.
If you "like BZ wish to stay with it, we still hold the BZ games as the best we have played".
Bz is not your MOD, it's the game on the cd, since you are not playing it, your statement is false because your actions are to play a MOD and not the REAL Battlezone as it was originally made.
As for your statement of "Your community is corrupt" i would say the people here are freedom loving independent thinkers that are not afraid to speak their minds. Since we all use illegal versions of Battlezone in one form or another, we are all corrupt, that includes you. So once again, it was a stupid statement to make.
Next, you posted quotes that are pure propaganda designed to insight people like yourself to believe it and spread disinformation. Also you left out who the quotes are from, which discredits you more than him. You shouldn't take unsubstantiated quotes and try to pass them off as credible.
"You are despised at our community, with plenty of haters toward you. You have obviously done something to deserve all of these claims"
Well i guess you proved yourself a troll with that statement, anyone that hates will obviously do or say anything, lie, steal, cheat, spread disinformation etc.. etc... you painted yourself into a corner.
As for myself, i believe hate is a very strong word, I have no hate nor ever have known hatred in my heart for anyone or anything.
As for the code base, there are 2 versions of the code base, the first was from Pandemic Studios via Ken Miller, it was an incomplete version which was no where near the retail Bz 1.4. The second version i was given when i asked another person for files to bring Ken's version closer to Bz 1.4 as we didn't think it was worth the effort without a current code base. What i got was the 1.3 code base instead of the files i asked about, not quite 1.3.1 patch but close to it. I sent that code base to Ken in September of 2007. Ken made an online repository with it. I worked on the code a while by myself and later met Tug, who is a programmer that used to play Bz. Tug and I worked together for a while fixing the priority bugs in the game which later we used in 1.5. These updates in BzE and 1.5 are due to many people, the links in the chain that got us all to this point are Me, Ken, two others i don't have permission to release, Tug and Spock. If you remove any link in that chain, there would never have been BzE and 1.5.
I'm considering releasing the older Pandemic code base at some point for educational purposes, if Ken has no objection. It's a great way to learn about programming in your favorite game.
I intend to release the tool and a tut on how to add such things as animated structure, vehicles, ordinance in the future. Some of these things are being done now with Blakes model viewer/editor but that is not the proper tool for the job. Being able to create totally new models in 3D Studio Max and convert them to Bz is the best way.
