I heard this mans story on Art Bell show years ago from Paul Coulbeck who wrote "The Granite Starship" but his version was not near as completer as getting it from the source. One thing that stuck with me was the amount of callers that night claiming to live in the town his prototype launched from saying they witnessed the launch and was the brightest thing around as it shut down the cities lights. Apparently it got away from him one night. Pics are on his website.

Re: The Granite Man
He's nothing but an old drunk.
If he saw something in the military in 1945 he'd be 88 min. by now, he doesn't look that old.
He has a bunch of scrap metal there and not a clue what he's saying.
He said you have to have 3 ok but then he said four is ok too, from what I've heard it's multiples of 3.

All truth goes through three stages:
•First it is ridiculed
•Then it is violently opposed
•Finally it is widely accepted as self evident

Re: The Granite Man
He was born 1924 and died 2007 have you seen the photos of the ships he built? Not only that there were many witnesses as the whole town he lived in was aware of his flying saucer that he had on his deck. I don't think anyone that met him described him as a drunk. There are many pics of his saucer parts and some saucers that don't look like something a drunk could make. He claimed much of his work was stolen. Anyhow true or not it was the first story i can remember hearing that involved a ship using granite balls to hold a vibration that opens a small black hole that sucks the ship along into a parallel universe to a planet somehow connected to earth. Its another story of an individual who claimed to have much technology only to have it stolen by authorities. The main things that gave it credibility for me were the pics of his saucer under construction posted on coasttocoastam the night of the show and the fact so many witnesses to the accidental launch event from his town in Canada who called in to say it was all true and they saw it. I saw a show on physics just before i found his site yesterday in which theories supporting the multiverse theory were presented which reminded me of this unique story. Mainstream scientists would immediately call BS on this story yet sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

Re: The Granite Man
I think this is the episode of the great physics show I saw on multiverses.
