Hey,
i just wanted to say thanks to all of you that started this. I used to play this game all the time when i was growing up and it is literally my favorite game of all time. I tried to install the game on my new (at the time) laptop and it barely ran and of course all the original servers were down. But then i found this site and it changed everything thing. Thanks again

Did you play online or single player?

Most of us played on either the Acti servers or Heat.

Always nice to see someone come back to the game. It truly is unique and I always say it gets it's hooks in you and sooner or later, you come back to it.

Hahah yeah i totally agree. I played a whole lot of the single player, especially once the servers went down, but i did play a ton of online stuff. I really loved the strategy ones, since my dad had installed a patch that made the explosions huge, which was a big disadvantage on deathmatches. When anything blew up near me i would nearly flip over haha.

Large Assets, yea that was cool but it did cause problems when playing. Most of us turn it back off since it's was almost impossible to snipe someone when you're spinning through the air after your tank blows up.

Yes, indeed. Large assets was something that was very sweet in single player, but online quickly became a major handicap if you wanted to not get killed after the novelty of prettiness wore off.

hahaha nice. Is that patch still able to be downloaded for the game cause i remember it also made the game look nicer, unless there was another patch he had on?

I think that patch is already in most the installers but it was "patched" somehow... I think I have that somewhere if you really want it.
