I've been watching a facinating documentary series on life in Canada.

Definitely worth watching - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaF23CT51vc

What you never saw the trailer park boys before?
Hugely popular in the U.S.

I just found it on Netflix recently. I love that they have a shootout in almost every episode and they whip out all kinds of automatic weapons. Ricky gets shot most of the time but no one ever dies.

Bubbles is my new hero, replacing Timmy...

J-rock is also hilarious.
The actor that plays him had been kicking around Canadian television since the late 80s.
Somewhere I have a picture of a friend of mine when she met Ricky and Mr. Layhe in a bar.

Yea, J-Rock is funny. I was watching the outtakes where he is doing the turn table thing with "Ya know what I'm sayin" and says it backwards and forwards. Nobody but Bubbles could understand what he was saying (or keep a straight face).

I'd love to see the picture if you can find it.

I've lived in that redneck trailer trash soup all my life here in NC. Not so bad now that I'm near a bigger city with large universities all around, UNC, NC State, Peace, Meridith and Duke. But you only have to venture a few dozens miles in any direction to be bathed in it.
